MANILA, Philippines — The E-Sports World Federation (ESWF) has officially launched ENTER BATTLE ZONE (EBZ) 2026, a nationwide Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament designed to identify and develop emerging Filipino esports players while expanding opportunities for competitive growth and international exposure.
The tournament will take place on July 31 to August 2, 2026, bringing together teams from across the country in a structured competitive environment that offers cash prizes, official ESWF rankings, and access to talent development pathways within the federation’s esports ecosystem.
ESWF Chairman Engr. Reynaldo Sanchez leads the initiative, emphasizing the organization’s goal of strengthening esports as a professional development platform for Filipino youth. The program is designed to provide players with opportunities to build competitive experience, improve their skills, and progress toward higher-level tournaments.
The event is supported by ESWF President Arnel Gutierrez and Executive Vice President Henry V. Bayubay. The federation underscores its broader commitment to building a sustainable esports structure that promotes discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and digital innovation.
A key feature of the tournament is the EBZ Rating System, an official ESWF ranking framework that tracks team and player performance. The system is intended to establish competitive credibility, increase visibility for standout players, and support talent identification for future regional and international competitions.
Top-performing teams will receive cash prizes and additional recognition. The champion will receive ₱50,000, followed by ₱25,000 for second place and ₱15,000 for third place. ESWF will also recognize the Top 10 finishing teams with special rewards that may include gaming gear, sponsor giveaways, merchandise, certificates, and opportunities for further exposure within ESWF programs.
Registration is open to Mobile Legends teams, schools, universities, esports clubs, barangays, youth organizations, and gaming communities nationwide. The deadline for registration is July 24, 2026.
Following ENTER BATTLE ZONE 2026, ESWF will hold SALPAKAN: Games of the General 2026 from August 5 to 8 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, featuring gaming competitions and interactive esports activities.
