“Typhoon Egay posed another big challenge to our countrymen. We hope that somehow, the hardships they feel will be alleviated through zero remittance fee on donations that will come from our fellow Filipinos overseas,” said Genie T. Gloria, Senior Vice President and Head of BDO Remittance.

Several provinces have declared a State of Calamity due to the great damage caused by Typhoon Egay. This includes the provinces of Pampanga, Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Bataan, Cavite, Mountain Province, and Apayao.
