Seven out of 10 presidential candidates in the May 9 polls have so far confirmed their participation in the Catholic E-Forum, an online Church-initiated forum for candidates aspiring for national positions in the forthcoming May 9 elections. The forum is now underway.
Bro. Clifford Sorita, a member of the Catholic E-Forum organizing group, said the presidential bets who committed to participate in the one-on-one interview are labor leader Leody de Guzman, Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, former national security adviser Norberto Gonzales, Senator Ping Lacson, Dr. Jose Montemayor Jr., Senator Manny Pacquiao and Vice President Leni Robredo.
The Catholic E-forum airs over the Radio Veritas 846 Barangay Simbayanan program from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The program hosts include Angelique Lazo and Rev. Fr. Jerome Secillano through Radio Veritas 846.
Sorita said they have also invited presidential bets Faisal Mangomdato, former presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. but they have yet to confirm their participation.
The interviews for presidential candidates will be from February 14 to 28. The candidates for Vice President have also been invited to a similar forum scheduled on March 1-15. The program has likewise slated a forum for senatoriables on Mrch 16 to April 29.
