PH Covid-19 recovery tally hits 1,305,608

The Philippines’ Covid-19 survivors’ recovery tally hit 1,305,608 after an additional 2,867 survivors were recorded on Friday.

In its latest pandemic bulletin, the Department of Health (DOH) said recoveries account for 94.3 percent of the total 1,385,053 infections since the start of the pandemic last year.

The DOH bulletin also reported another 6,812 new cases and 116 new deaths which brought the overall tally of active cases to 55,293 and the death toll to 24,152.

The latest figures showed 90.8% of the active cases are mild, 4.6% are asymptomatic, 1.9% are severe, 1.35% are moderate, and only 1.3% are in critical condition. The June 23 data also indicated that 11.6% of the 51,005 who were tested turned out positive for Covid-19.

The DOH meanwhile has urged those experiencing Covid-19 symptoms to immediately isolate and contact their Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams.
