MEDIA Summit 2023 opens on January 10 at the Aklan State University (ASU) in Banga, Aklan.
High-ranking government officials and prominent media personalities are slated to address the event. Some 150 journalists from different parts of the Philippines are attending the occasion, to tackle various issues currently confronting and challenging the nation.
Joseph Lazarr Punay, president of the Multimedia Press Corps Inc., said “issues on food security, climate change, science and technology, social media education” will be top on the agenda of the media summit.
National Press Club (NPC) president Lydia D. Bueno is expected to underscore the role of the media in the spread of national issues during the opening ceremony.
