The Philippines’ total number of recovered Covid-19 cases has reached 1,681,925 or 91.4% of the total case count which has now reached 1,839,635 since March last year.
A total of 13,952 new recoveries were reported on Sunday, even as 16,044 new infections brought the total number of active cases to 125,900.
The Department of Health (DOH), in its latest bulletin, said 93.8% of the active cases are mild, 3.4% are asymptomatic, 0.6% are critical, 1.2% are severe, and 0.94% are moderate. It also reported 215 new deaths, pushing the country’s total Covid-19 casualties to 31,180.
The DOH report also indicated that to date, 73% of the 4,100 intensive care unit (ICU) beds, 62% of 20,200 isolation beds, 66% of 14,300 ward beds, and 51% of 3,100 ventilators are utilized by Covid-19 patients nationwide.
