PBBM TO NEW OFFICIALS, MALACAÑANG MEDIA OFFICERS: REMAIN BEING MODELS OF EXCELLENCE, INTEGRITY

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. expressed high hopes on Wednesday that newly-appointed officials and officers of various government offices will continue to demonstrate excellence and integrity while performing their respective duties.

“I trust that you will remain models of excellence and integrity, especially to your staff, stakeholders, and communities,” the President said as he administered the oath of office to newly appointed government officials from various offices at the Malacañan Palace.

Officials who took oath before the President were National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Chairperson Jennifer Pia Sibug-las, Philippine Coast Guard Commander Vice Admiral Roy Echeverria, and Special Envoy to the Republic of Korea for Digital Transformation Dennis Anthony Uy.

This is also coincided with the oath-taking ceremony for new officers of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Press Photographers of the Philippines (PPP), Malacañang Press Corps (MPC), Malacañang Cameramen Association (MCA), and Presidential Photojournalists Association (PPA).

“We witness the oaths of exemplary and honorable individuals who have been, and who will continue to be, assets to our country. These individuals are leaders and trailblazers in their own professions — exemplars of patriotism, of excellence, and wholehearted service throughout their careers and endeavors,” he said.

President Marcos said that the new leaders now have more opportunities to create improvements in their respective workplaces as he stressed that their unwavering commitment and presence are crucial to the sectors they serve.

He also assured that his administration will continue to provide support to the said offices to ensure continuing development in their sectors and enjoined them to work for the betterment of the country.

“This administration will spare no effort to provide the support necessary to address the pressing concerns that hinder development in the sectors of our communities under your authority,” he said.
“Pagtulungan natin maitaguyod ang Bagong Pilipinas kung saan ang mga mamamayan ay namumuhay nang pantay-pantay, mapayapa, ligtas, at makabuluhan,” he added. | PND
