The beneficiary groups included the Cemeco Culipapa Farmers Association, which received funding for agricultural farm equipment services; Sangke Farmworkers Association, agricultural farm inputs and products trading; San Rafael Farmworkers Association and Asosasyon sang Mananagat sa Bulwangan, water refilling station; Barangay II Farmers and Vendors Association, general merchandise; Talacagay Women’s Vendors Association, community store.

“Through the SCF, the groups can manage their proposed livelihood projects and eventually generate income that would help them improve their socio-economic conditions,” the DSWD-6 said.

A series of capability-building and monitoring activities will also be undertaken to ensure the growth and sustainability of the projects, it added.
