𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗪 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Laoag City, Ilocos Norte – August 12-2025 — The Province of Ilocos Norte will host the National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) celebration on November 17–21, 2025, at the Laoag Centennial Arena.

The Department of Science and Technology Region I (DOST I) and the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte (PGIN) confirmed the partnership during a courtesy visit and meeting with Governor Cecilia Araneta-Marcos, attended by DOST I Regional Director Teresita A. Tabaog and DOST Ilocos Norte Provincial Director Brian U. Rasco.

NSTW is an annual event showcasing innovations, research breakthroughs, and technology-based solutions that address both national and local needs. It aims to promote science, technology, and innovation as drivers for inclusive growth and sustainable development.

Thousands of participants from across the country are expected to attend the four-day event, which will feature exhibits, technology demonstrations, and forums highlighting the role of science and technology in empowering communities and industries.
