Over 61 million Pinoys now fully vaccinated

A total of 61,058,862 Filipinos have fully been vaccinated, as of morning of Valentine’s Day (February 14).

The National Task Force (NTF) against Covid-19 also shared that 52,262 children aged 5 to 11 years old have also received their first dose of the reformulated Pfizer jabs, while 8,011,994 others have had their booster shots.

NTF chief implementer and vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. vaccines would help revive the country’s economy and enable children to return back to school which is also projected to refresh the emotional and mental health of children who have confined in their homes for two years now.

The NTF said the Philippines has already received a total 222,463,020 doses of various ant-Covid vaccines – both procured and donated, to date.
